In June 2012, I will be taking part in a solo, non-stop, unassisted race to Hawaii aboard my Wilderness 30 named Domino. The Singlehanded Transpac has been described by some as a "A bug light for weirdos". Follow me and my fellow “bug light weirdos” as we prepare our boats and ourselves for the downwind run to Hawaii.

SHTP 2010 Get Together A Success!!

Although the weather was off and on rain…the SHTP get together this past weekend was a ton of fun. I’m not sure what it is about looking at other people’s sailboats and how they have things setup; but I really enjoy it! It makes it even more interesting when you are looking at boats that are Singlehanded regularly; you can always find cool little tricks and details that make sailing life more efficient and comfortable.
