In June 2012, I will be taking part in a solo, non-stop, unassisted race to Hawaii aboard my Wilderness 30 named Domino. The Singlehanded Transpac has been described by some as a "A bug light for weirdos". Follow me and my fellow “bug light weirdos” as we prepare our boats and ourselves for the downwind run to Hawaii.

2010 Already!
January 8th, 2010Wow! Well I figured the tail end of 2009 would be a blur, and with 6 months to go before the start of the SHTP 2010; things are moving along. As I mentioned in the previous post, the rig is back up and I just installed a Boomkicker on Blue Moon which eliminates the need for a topping lift.
My to-do list is starting to seem manageable and I am hoping by the end of this month (Jan) I will have most boat work completed and I can start focusing on sailing and finding a weather window to complete my Qualifying sail. Here is another shot of Blue Moon starting to look like a boat again.
