About
In June 2012, I will be taking part in a solo, non-stop, unassisted race to Hawaii aboard my Wilderness 30 named Domino. The Singlehanded Transpac has been described by some as a "A bug light for weirdos". Follow me and my fellow “bug light weirdos” as we prepare our boats and ourselves for the downwind run to Hawaii.

Robert Crawford’s New Book
March 11th, 2010I’m currently reading a fellow SSS’er Robert Crawford’s book about his experience in the 2008 Singlehanded Transpac. I am very much enjoying the read! Check it out: Black Feathers: A Pocket Racer Sails The Singlehanded TransPac Things are moving right along aboard s/v Blue Moon. My AIS has been fully installed…along with my new tiller and autopilot. I will hopefully have a new sprayhood and mainsail cover sewn up this weekend and we should be ready for an extended trip offshore sometime near the end of this month–however not currently having a motor aboard Blue Moon makes that word “extended” even more difficult to define. Lets hope for wind and a decent weather window!
