About
In June 2012, I will be taking part in a solo, non-stop, unassisted race to Hawaii aboard my Wilderness 30 named Domino. The Singlehanded Transpac has been described by some as a "A bug light for weirdos". Follow me and my fellow “bug light weirdos” as we prepare our boats and ourselves for the downwind run to Hawaii.

Currently 77 miles away. Tons of wind and a weird sea state made for a hard night, but we made miles. Tired but excited to be with you guys.

DTF: 48 miles. Going to time arrival for 1st light I think. The waves and wind have been crazy the past couple of days. Took everything down for a couple of hours to see if it would calm down and I was still doing 3.5 knots under bare pole! Then, I put up the jib and main, tweaked with the windvane for far too long, and passed out for an hour or so. Took a nice (sun) shower with fresh water. Feeling refreshed and anxious to hit land.
